The Overlap View function offers an alternative matrix format that displays EBs in their relative starting positions, but shows them as horizontal bars, extending their width in proportion to their duration. This function provides users the ability to view overlapping behaviors to verify their relative duration, and assess their possible interactive effects. In this view, the individual EB begin or end times can be changed by dragging the end borders of the EBs.

The scale can be changed to tailor the display to accommodate the particular attributes of the EBs viewed, using the Tools>Overlap Scale and Range Filter for large changes, or the View menu for incremental changes.
