Event Blocks

"Event Blocks" (EBs) are a basic tool. EBs are the investigators' building blocks used to "build" the descriptions and explanations of the process. Each EB consists of one actor and one action, with times and other attributes needed to uniquely define a behavior. Investigation data are transformed into "EBs" which can then be sequenced and related to each other. This focuses investigators on the pursuit of data that defines the specific behaviors required to produce the outcome of interest. Actors can be people, objects or energies. Actions can be physical, verbal, or mental.
