Other Tools

The basic tools and rules make possible other tools to support investigation tasks, including tools to:

• help managers direct investigations in real time:
• ensure consistency during investigations with automated glossaries:
• produce on-screen and printed summary lists of events, comments, remarks and problems
• import and merge two or more Matrices from investigation team members;
• export and exchange images, data lists, task lists, source lists, and summaries;
• identify behaviors that could be improved systematically:
• develop and rank options for improving processes: and
• assist in the preparation of narrative reports of the investigation.

Guidance, Tutorials and examples support self-directed learning of the investigation system and the software. All are accessible in the Help menu. Investigators build their skills by working with samples, analyzing documents and building matrices with the software.
