Inspect ObjectsThe Inspector is a multipurpose tool for viewing, modifying or adding data in EBs and Comments, viewing, modifying and testing inks, viewing, modifying or adding data to Diamonds, or viewing Glossaries. |
Inspect: | EBs | Links | Comments | Diamonds | Glossaries |
Activate the Inspector with Tools >Inspector or Command+I or by clicking on the Inspector Icon in the Tool Bar. With the Inspector Panel open, clicking on an EB, comment, link or Diamond in the Matrix or Overlap view will change the Inspector panel displayed. |
Incoming Links | The list of incoming links is used to determine if the links are necessary and sufficient for the selected EB to occur the way it did, and record the results of this analysis. The Necessary and Sufficient Test passed check box displays the results of the logic testing. When the box is empty, the arrowheads of the links are white. When this box displays a check mark, the inbound arrowheads of all these links burn red. See Logic Testing section of this Manual for testing procedure. |
Outgoing Links | Toggle the status of outgoing links by clicking on the Status check box. A question mark indicates the link is tentative, shown by a dashed arrow, and a check mark indicates the link is confirmed. Remove a link by clicking on the Unlink check box. To undo, use Edit >Undo. |
The Necessary and Sufficient Test Passed is discussed in the Logic Testing section. |
