Configure PreferencesInvestigation Catalyst menu > PreferencesThis menu is used to set display options for the MES Matrix and the event block, Diamond and comment panels. All preferences can be changed as the project progresses. The Preferences panel looks like this when you open it: Matrix Display tabClick on a box to toggle a check mark on or off. If the Matrix is displayed, the display will change to show the changed configuration. If it is not displayed the panel will open showing only the checked columns.
Table Column Display tabsThis panel specifies the columns displayed in the tables in the Panels shown in the Tabs, including the EB Panel,the Diamond Panel and the Comments Panel on the screen, in the panel printouts or in exported panel files. Click on a box to toggle a check mark on or off. If the panel is displayed, the display will change to show the changed configuration. If it is not displayed the panel will open showing only the checked columns. Change the sequence of the columns on screen when a panel is displayed by dragging the columns into their new position.
Other TabYou can tell Catalyst-MES to do nothing when opened, to open a blank Matrix, to open the file last saved, or to show the open menu dialogue. Click on a box to toggle a check mark on or off. The next time Investigation Catalyst is launched, it will do what is checked. Configure ViewsDisplay Title BoxClick on View > Display Title Box to toggle the check mark indicating the Title Block will be displayed below the tool bar. The Title Box will appear/or disappear in the Matrix window. Display Jump MapThe Jump Map is a navigation tool to ""jump" to different parts of a Matrix as the Matrix grows beyond what is visible on the screen. A blue rectangle in the Jump Map outlines what is displayed on the screen. To view a different part of the screen, click on the jump map, then click on the target area. The rectangle will move over the selected area of the Matrix, and the screen will display that area.
Configure Actor Column WidthChange the width of the Actor column on the left edge of the matrix at any time by dragging the small box in the middle of the separator between the actor column and the main Matrix area to the right or left. Customize Tool BarCustomize the default Tool Bar to serve personal computer practices. To change the Tool Bar configuration, simply Control click (right click) anywhere on the Tool Bar background to bring up the Tool Bar configuration window.
When the Tool Bar customization is complete, click DONE button to close all customizing windows. |
